Most Facebook marketing focuses on acquiring fans. Fans represent potential income for companies. With care, fans can become quality leads and new sources of income. Your Facebook page and news feed allow fans to get to know your brand, describe how you can help solve their problems, and show company value. So, how can your company attract more fans?
Here are my top 5 different strategies:
- Add your Facebook page link in your company email signature.
- Link your personal Facebook profile to your business Facebook page.
- Have a company giveaway to generate more fans.
- Add a “Like” button to your website.
- Add a “Like” button to your thank you form when someone signs up for your email newsletter.
I recommend that you choose three strategies and continue to use them for at least 2-3 months. For example, Blue Zoo implemented a “Like” box on our website to make it easier for people to Like and share what Blue Zoo is posting on Facebook. Most of our team members use a Facebook “Like” button on their email signature. These strategies have generated a steady stream of new fans to our Facebook page. By analyzing our fan numbers, we found that our Facebook page gains about one new fan every two days. This is good organic growth from one year ago when we had only 200 fans.
Remember that your company must measure your progress to see the influence these tactics have on your company fans, sales, or goals. If those three tactics don’t work, try a couple of different tactics. Keep experimenting until you find the right combination to get the fans you want and the leads you need.
